Glaswegian based singer Shaz IA has teamed up with the award winning music composers Tigerstyle for her second single Aage Peeche releasing May 18th2015 on Soldier Sound records. Shaz IA born and raised in Glasgow began singing since a young age being inspired by Bollywood singers Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar. Shaz IA who is full time solicitor came on to the music scene in 2013 with her debut single Tere Liye which landed her some performances for cultural festivals across North of England and Scotland. Shaz IA a very well known name in Scotland also worked as a RJ at Scotland’s most popular Radio Station Awaz FM. It was inevitable that at some point she would cross the path of Scotland’s finest producers Tigerstyle. Having known them for many years they decided they would work with her to release her first single, a catchy dance track, Tere Liye, which she wrote herself: “I couldn’t find anyone to pen me an urdu/hindi track so after waiting for so long I gave up and decided do it myself.”
Her latest track Aage Peeche came to her while driving one day: “The beat just popped into my head and I had to pull over and record the tune into my phone.” Later, she put down some lyrics and after a few minor adjustments another great dance number was formed.
Shaz IA a unique talent with beauty, brains and a talented voice is set to make a big mark in the industry filling the gap as a hindi/urdu singer from Scotland. She is currently working on her third track which will release end of the year.
