After the success of her international hit track “Digriyaan” last year, sang and composed by UK’s award winning female talent Sarika Gill, written by the lyrical master Bunty Bains and produced by the talented Desi Crew, Sarika has teamed up with T-SERIES and one of the biggest music producers from Punjab, Desi Routz, to bring you her brand new single entitled “Massi”. Sarika has again teamed up with exceptionally talented Punjabi Lyricist Inda Nahal, writer behind Sarika’s UK hit single “Bach Ke” which was released in 2013.
“Massi” is an upbeat classic bhangra dance song ready to rock DJ’s and dance floors worldwide! The lyrics have a cheeky twist and talk about a girl asking her boyfriend to go and ask for her hand in marriage from her father, as her Aunty (Massi) is planning an arranged marriage for her somewhere else. She goes on to say to her boyfriend that he better hurry up before he loses her to the guy that her Aunty has chosen.

The video compliments the audio perfectly, shot in Chandigarh, Punjab by the artistic video directors Punjabi Virus. Sarika plays Deepi, a vibrant, quirky and bold girl who’s not intimidated quickly. Throughout the video you get to see a lot of playful antics between the actors, some funny comedy scenes and great dazzling dance shots! Overall a bright and colourful video full of entertainment!
Sarika Gill was born into a very musical family. At a very young age Sarika was exposed to a wide variety of music ranging from Punjabi and Bollywood to R&B and Reggae. Sarika soon developed a passion for singing and dancing and was able to sing in English, Punjabi and Hindi at the tender age of five.
