“Garaari” is Bups Saggu’s third single in 2017 following the huge global success of his debut vocal track ‘Black Magic’ and the folk smasher “Faaltu” featuring Zora Randhawa. The new edition to Bups’ hit catalogue featuring the powerful vocals of one of the Punjabi industry’s powerful male vocalist Saini Surinder and intoduces a young talent that will surely make waves amongst the female category in the future, Preet kaur. This track is a fully fledge Desi dancefloor number and the drop especially is one that can’t be ignored!
Garaari, Bups’ first male-female duet boliyan is written by Attri, who was also responsible for Bups’ hit songs Bodyguard and Faaltu. Bups and Saini have been in talks for many years and as we all know Bups is one to utilise a vocal for a purpose. Saggu adds, “when first drafting out Garaari, I knew Saini would deliver the power, attitude and charcter needed for this track. In addition I knew he would be the ideal partnership alongside Preet Kaur’s sweet but attitude-filled vocal.
The video has been shot by Tapehead and pays homage to the stereotype “UK Style” of Bhangra music videos oover the past decade but with a definite twist and a few special FX. There is also a comical skit at the beginning for which Saggu is known for.
The collaboration of the superstar DJ and two powerful vocalist of the Punjabi Music Industry is guaranteed to make waves across the world amongst Bhangra lovers, fans and devoted followers.
