Born to be King – Baby Girl (Full Video)
Upcoming film ‘Born To Be King’ brings Bollywood to Britain with its explosive new soundtrack. The first song release, ‘The Way You Look’ (Baby Girl) is an upbeat track where brit-pop meets bhangra.
The Way You Look (Baby Girl) is a party track with a smooth R&B vibe and a guaranteed hit. The track was created by the award winning producer Rishi Rich, who is best known for his work with The Rishi Rich Project, producing hits like ‘Dance With You’ and ‘Freak’. The song also features established singer KcK, who has been dubbed the ‘Asian Frank Sinatra‘! Lending his smooth, velvety vocals to the infectious track, KcK’s perfect delivery gives the song its silky dancefloor feeling. Vocal support on the track is provided by UK based artist Amarjeet Bolla.
A fresh and energetic sound, the song represents what it means to be bothBritish and Asian. Taking the best of both cultures, the track contains elements of Rishi’s contemporary Asian sound, but also incorporates Western inspired beats. The result is a fantastic floor-filler, guaranteed to make everyone dance.
The Born To Be King soundtrack merges the best of the Punjab and Britain. Featuring an eclectic mix of both contemporary and traditional sounds, the soundtrack includes original compositions from renowned and award-winning artists and producers including Rishi Rich, Apache Indian, Harbhajan Talwar and KcK.
Born To Be King is the latest project from producer Sudhir Sharma, directed by Satyajeet Puri and features a cast of British and Indian talent, including Ateesh Randev, Puneet Issar, Deana Uppal and Sonam Bajwa.
The film follows the trials and tribulations of a young British man Balraj(Ateesh Randev), who goes to the Punjab with his grandfather Bhagat Singh (Puneet Issar) to ‘find himself’, following years of living a directionless life with endless partying and frivolity. In so doing, he not only makes a new life for himself, but also brings about significant change for the local people.
The Way You Look (Baby Girl) is released on the ASK Movies Ltd label and is available now via digital stores.
The film will be released in selected cinemas across the UK on Friday 4th March 2016.
