Asian Star Radio wins its 3rd REGIONAL RADIO STATION OF THEYEAR 2018/19 Award on Thursday 25th October picking up the prize at a prestigious awards gala evening hosted by The Asian Media Awards at The Hilton Deansgate Manchester. A star-studded line up of speakers, guests from the world of Television, Radio, Digital and Print Media had gathered in their hundreds to grace the occasion hosted by ITV News presenter Nina Hossain. Asian Star Radio won its 3rd Regional Radio Station Of The Year Award again this year beating of stiff competition from other radio stations from across the UK. The Slough based radio station now has numerous awards under its belt and proud owners Ray & Sbba Siddique were delighted and overwhelmed to have won again this year. MD Ray C said “I couldn’t believe my ears when the winner was announced in our category and Asian Stars’ name was mentioned, bubbling with excitement we went up to collect
the award, this is a real achievement for the station and another feather in our cap. It just confirms what thousands of our listeners are already telling us that the stations output is exemplary and being judged by media executives from the UK media including ITV, Sky BBC that Asian Star Radio a Slough based company is really flying the flag high for Slough on the airwaves with
an exemplary sound just validates it”.
Being Slough’s only and official radio station the senior management team at Asian Star 101.6FM are proud to announce that their work has been recognised by the Asian Media Awards for a third time.
